I am speaking at the Spring Arbitration Symposium 2017 organised by Commercial Dispute Resolution (“CDR”). I am part of a panel addressing the topic of Tribunal Selection in a session which promises to be interesting and informative. This is a very important area; the ability of the parties to select members of the arbitral tribunal is just one of the features which sets arbitration apart from litigation.
Other topics addressed in the Symposium include the enforcement of arbitral awards and best practice in obtaining evidence in international arbitrations. There are also sessions devoted to energy and commodities as well as construction and engineering arbitrations.
