John Wright

Named as one of the world’s leading construction lawyers, John is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and past Co-Chair of the International Construction Projects committee of the International Bar Association.

John practiced as a partner in London law firms for over 30 years. He has 40 years’ experience of dealing with disputes of every size and complexity and during his career has handled cases ranging from disputes regarding works to private houses to projects with amounts in issue up to £100m.

Services

John now acts full time as an arbitrator, adjudicator, dispute board member and mediator. Although his principal interest has historically been in construction and infrastructure he has also dealt with banking, insurance and real estate matters and accepts instructions to act in those fields also.
